Terms & Conditions – Drivers Licence Carlton

1. Identification and Licensing

Clients must present a valid learner’s permit or overseas driver’s licence in English or with English translation, upon request by their instructor. Failure to do so may result in the lesson or test being refused and forfeited.
Please note that we normally take a photo.

2. Safety Requirements

Appropriate footwear is mandatory. Open footwear (barefoot, sandals, or high heels) is unsafe for training or tests. Instructors may refuse to proceed, and the session may be forfeited.

3. Lesson & Test Scheduling

All driving lessons and VicRoads practical driving tests are subject to instructor availability.
Always confirm your instructor’s availability before booking your VicRoads test. Any changes made directly with VicRoads are at your own cost.
You must be contactable prior to lessons so the instructor can communicate your meeting point.

4. Lesson & Test Attendance

Instructors will wait a maximum of 15 minutes for late clients; lessons not attended within this timeframe are forfeited.
On test day, arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your VicRoads appointment and keep your phone on and reachable. Phones must be off during the test.
Clients are responsible for booking their own VicRoads test and providing accurate details. Incorrect bookings or failure to book will result in forfeited sessions with no refunds.

5. Documentation Requirements

Bring all necessary documents on test day, including VicRoads appointment receipt, Hazard Perception Test results, eye wear, log book, and any supporting documents for overseas licences.
If VicRoads does not accept your documentation or you fail to meet their criteria, your session ends, and no refund or exchange is offered.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

24-hour notice is required for lesson cancellations, postponements, or pickup location changes. Otherwise, the lesson is forfeited.
48-hour notice is required for VicRoads test cancellations. Failure to comply results in forfeited sessions.
A specific lesson within a package may be rescheduled a maximum of two times. Subsequent changes without proper notice will be forfeited.

7. Packages & Refunds

Refunds on prepaid packages may incur a $50 administration fee, and completed lessons are charged at their unit rate.
Refunds are processed only via bank transfer to the account provided by the client and must originate from the email used to book the package.
Packages are non-transferable between clients or instructors and must be completed within 6 months of purchase if practical. Ie if just got their learners permit and they are under 25.
Switching between automatic and manual transmission, changing package location, or changing package type is considered a cancellation and may be refused.
Extension requests may be considered under special circumstances if submitted prior to package expiry.

8. Third-Party Bookings

Bookings made by agencies or third parties are considered a friendly assistance unless prior arrangements have been made. Ie regarding commissions.
After lessons commence, all communication will be handled directly with the client, not the third party.

9. Communication

All communication should be via email, or SMS preferably CC’ing vjbonzza@icloud.com, phone calls are not recorded.

10. Additional Products

Any additional products, such as the Drivers Licence Carlton eBook Tips To Pass Your Drive Test, ECT, are to be treated as copyright protected. May be shared although cannot be altered in any way.
